FREE!!

Well guys... the Gospels have arrived.... all 1500 of them, all we have to do now, is give them out!!

 "HOW?!"
     "WHEN?!"

I hear you cry...

Well, let me tell you!

This years gospel project makes missions week a bit different. In that there are going two be TWO concentrated weeks of missions. The first from 9th-13th Feb to focus on giving out the copies of Mark's Gospel that we have. The second from 23rd-27th Feb, putting on events around campus to appeal to loads of different people, and being out on campus, still giving out gospels, doing questionnaires etc, but focussing more on getting people into the events.

A guy called Andrew Norbury, who spoke at our Carol Service in December, will be coming up to speak at each of our events every night, and a couple of local speakers will also be talking at our lunch bars in the afternoons...

Here follows a list of what we're hoping to do!!

FREE WEEK (9TH-13TH FEB)

TEXT-A-TOASTIE - from Monday to Friday, we will be set up each night in a different set of halls, having advertised around for people to TEXT A TOASTIE. Basically, the text a number, tell us what flavour toastie they want and a question about christianity or life in general, then we'll think of an answer, and take them their toastie, their answer and a copy of mark's gospel! Fab!

   Monday - Eden & Ribble
   Tuesday - Roeburn
   Wednesday - Foundry Court
   Friday - Whitendale

STALL - We're hoping to have a stall in Foster building throughout the week, from which to give out free gospels and talk to people about Christianity and what we believe. It's a kind of centre of operations for the CU team and we'll have a cool set up and questionnaires and sweets and all sorts :)

BOTTLING - as matt has dubbed it... we're trying to collect as many bottles of water as possible, so that we can label them with the free logo, and go out on the Thursday night after CU to the student club night 'promo' at the student club 53degres, not to go out lol... but to give people FREE bottles of water as they leave, anda copy of Mark's Gospel. We're hoping that this will open up lots of opportunities to present people with the Gospel for the first time.

FREE 4 ALL WEEK (23RD-27TH FEB)

STALLS - Again there will hopefully be a stall in Foster building every day throughout this week, also on Tuesday 24th, we'll have an additional stall in the Students Union, from which to give people Gospels and tell them about the Free events we've got going on!
